Julio Jones makes Titans practice debut: Notes, photos, videos

For the first time since the Tennessee Titans struck a deal with the Atlanta Falcons for star wide receiver Julio Jones, the veteran made his practice debut on Thursday during the team’s final voluntary workout of OTAs.

Jones’ first practice understandably garnered plenty of attention, with the national media tagging along on top of the usual Titans beat. It was about as much excitement as one can get for a voluntary practice in the middle of June.

While we expected Jones to just do some light work at most, he was actually more active than we thought he would be and went full speed. It was also noted that Jones was already helping his younger teammates.

Next up for the Titans will be mandatory minicamp, which runs from June 15-17. Jones is also expected to attend that, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini.

Now, what you came here for: check out all of the notes, photos and videos from Jones’ first practice in Nashville that we compiled from the reporters who were in attendance.
