Julio Jones is the best receiver of our time and contrary to popular opinion whoever is in second place isn’t very close. Only a handful of players have dominated this era the way Jones has. One could even argue he’s the best offensive player period of this era.
Here’s yet more evidence that Jones is going to be an absolute lock for the Pro Football Hall of Fame once his career is over. According to Pro Football Focus, Jones has posted more receiving conversions (touchdowns and first downs) than any other wide receiver since the 2014 season. Antonio Brown came in second, followed by Deandre Hopkins.
Jones is expected to sign a revised contract some time this offseason.
The one that Brown just signed with the Raiders (three years, $50 million) sets the market for Jones’ new deal with the Falcons.
