Julio Jones gets another top-10 ranking on NFL Top 100 list for 2019

NFL Network is in the midst of releasing the top 10 names on their annual Top 100 players in the league list, as voted on by the players themselves.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones came in at No. 9 this year, the second highest rank of any wide receiver.

It’s a slight drop from last year – Julio came in fourth in these rankings in 2018.

The Falcons didn’t get much love in this year’s voting in general. The only other player to make the cut was quarterback Matt Ryan, ranked No. 69 on the list, down 40 spots from the previous season.

The biggest snub of the year for the Falcons is easily defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, who had another outstanding but quiet season. Of course, not everyone is sleeping on Jarrett. This year he was ranked No. 17 in the league by Pro Football Focus, and No. 34 by Doug Farrar at Touchdown Wire.

Looking ahead to 2020, Atlanta may see safety Keanu Neal and linebacker Deion Jones finally break into this conversation if they stay healthy.
