Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has shared a post on social media that mocked his potential showdown with YouTube star Jake Paul.
Paul called out the Mexican star after his brutal KO victory against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley who he fought in a rematch.
The former world champion recently lost in a shock defeat to Anderson Silva but is willing to accept an offer to face Paul.
Now the Mexican reposted criticism of the fight from a fan on Instagram, captioned : "Lol this would be a great match because they both suck a**."
Chavez Jr previously reigned as middleweight champion in the sport until 2012 when he was defeated by Sergio Martinez.

However he is largely considered beyond the prime years of his career having lost three of his last five fights and has been unable to emulate past glory.
Although any tilt with the illustrious Mexican would represent the toughest name on Paul's short boxing resume which also includes former UFC star Ben Askren.
Paul has called out a whole host of other names including UFC stars Conor McGregor and Jorge Masvidal in addition to long-term rival Tommy Fury.
But the 35-year-old explained how Paul's team have made him an offer which he has since demanded must contain a 50/50 split.
"Jake Paul and his people contacted me regarding a fight with Paul," he told Fight News. "I said yes, but then again Lupe Valencia, who is with Paul now and used to be with me a few years back said they offered me one to three million dollars plus PPV.
"When it’s a fight that can sell millions and can break records because he is popular and I have a name, I’m a former world champion, so I made it clear that it has to be a 50/50 split for me to take the fight.

“Take into consideration that I have to go all the way up to 190 pounds, Jake Paul is a big guy and weight matters, so it’s a risk. Their people may want to see me lose and take advantages, but he doesn’t know how to box, I know I can knock him out."
"I just want to be treated fairly. What I bring to the table and my name, I have 61 fights already and yes I haven’t looked the same in my last two fights, but I fought with serious injuries in my body.
"I’m feeling better little by little and if the Paul fight happens, I will be very well prepared to win. I will not lose."
Paul was set to face bitter rival Fury in the ring before the Briton was forced to pull out after suffering a broken rib and chest infection.
Any agreement that is reached with Chavez Jr could signal the end of Fury's chances of rescheduling a clash, with Paul poised to take a break from fighting until later next year.
