Julie's Kopitiam moving to west end for residency at SWG3

It's one of the best-loved restaurants in the southside.

And now Julie's Kopitiam is on the move, taking up a residency at SWG3.

The Malaysian-inspired culinary experts have just been announced as the next foodie favourites taking over the pop-up space at the Acid Bar.

Currently playing host to Mad Lab (which has been serving up specialities from Cail Bruich to delighted customers for the past few months) they'll soon be making way for the team from Julie's Kopitiam, who recently scooped Best in the Southside in Glasgow Live's Food and Drink Awards.

Of course, it's not the only bit of exciting news for Pollokshaws Road's finest, as we recently revealed they are taking over a former roll shop Molly's Cosy Cafe just across the street from their original site – around the corner from their pals in Cafe Strange Brew.

The new spot is currently undergoing renovation, which will take about another month. And the makeover will include a bigger, better kitchen which will allow them to make a variety of new dishes.

Big things on the horizon for Julie's Kopitiam then!
