Julie Chen isn't afraid to remind everyone who her husband is

Her network may have given him the boot, but Julie Chen Moonves is standing her husband.

The "Celebrity Big Brother" host signed off of the CBS reality series' premiere Monday using husband Les Moonves' last name _ less than a month after he was denied a multi-million dollar severance package following an investigation into sexual misconduct claims.

Chen, 49, has steadfastly stuck by her husband's side since he was first accused of sexual assault and harassment in July.

The host shocked "Big Brother" viewers in September when she signed off as "Julie Chen Moonves" instead of "Julie Chen" for the very first time, and has stuck with using her married name since.

Her official biography on the CBS website refers to her as Julie Chen Moonves, and also makes reference to her marriage, saying she lives in New York and Los Angeles "with her husband," who is not identified.

Les Moonves, 69, stepped down as chairman and CEO of CBS in September after he was accused of sexual harassment and assault by more than a dozen women.

He has denied all allegations of nonconsensual sex, though an internal CBS report obtained by the New York Times found that he destroyed evidence and "deliberately lied" to lawyers amid an internal investigation.

The investigation wrapped in December, and the disgraced head honcho was pushed out the door without his $120 million severance.

"With regard to Mr. Moonves, we have determined that there are grounds to terminate for cause, including his willful and material misfeasance, violation of Company policies and breach of his employment contract, as well as his willful failure to cooperate fully with the Company's investigation," CBS said in a statement. "Mr. Moonves will not receive any severance payment from the Company."

Chen took a brief hiatus from her CBS duties after the first wave of accusations, and eventually stepped down as co-host of "The Talk."

She married Moonves in 2004, and they share a 9-year-old son.

"I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the late '90s, and I have been married to him for almost 14 years," she wrote on Twitter in July. "Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband."
