Julie and Phil Neville celebrate Christmas early as she shares a look inside their family home in Miami

They might now live in the Sunshine State but Julie Neville is making sure her family still have a traditional Christmas.

The wife of former Manchester United player Phil Neville has given followers on her Instagram a glimpse inside their new home in Miami, Florida, while already getting into the festive spirit.

The Nevilles have moved across the pond after Phil was appointed head coach of Inter Miami football club, owned by his former United teammate David Beckham, in January.

Julie, the author of two cookbooks, Authentic Spanish Cooking and Superfoods How to Make Them Work For You, has shared a video showcasing their swish kitchen and some tasty Christmas treats she had prepared.

The mum-of-two showed off a rack of smiling gingerbread men she had made earlier as the camera panned across the sleek grey food preparation areas with marble worktops.

She also gave a glimpse of the outdoor dining and sunbathing area and swimming pool with a backdrop of palm trees.

She set the scene ready for Christmas by selecting a festive movie to watch on the wall-mounted TV.

"It is never too soon to start getting excited about Christmas even if @philipneville18 doesn’t agree," she wrote.

"Phil's correct its too soon," one follower told her.

But another shared her glee and said: "Can't wait to assemble my Christmas tree."

In July Julie revealed her joy at finding their ideal home Stateside.

"So after three months of living between hotels, we now finally have a home and it was worth the wait! #miami #florida #sunshinestate," she told her followers.

In May their son Harvey left Manchester United to link up with his father.

The 19-year-old, who was a regular for the club's Under-23 side, signed with the Unted Soccer League's League One club Fort Lauderdale CF, the reserve side of Inter Miami.

Phil and his brother Gary came through the United academy as part of the famous Class of 92.

Phil played 378 times for the Reds under manager Sir Alex Ferguson between 1994 and 2005, winning six Premier League titles, three FA Cups and a UEFA Champions League trophy.
