Tom Brady and Julian Edelman have two of the most active social media accounts for NFL players.
So of course, the most fitting way for Edelman to celebrate Brady’s seventh Super Bowl victory is with a meme on Twitter. After switching teams at the age of 43, Brady took the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Super Bowl LV and completed a 31-9 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Brady’s team started off 7-2 this season and quickly went to 7-5, with their hopes of a Super Bowl dwindling mid-season. An infamous meme of Brady that resulted in him being trolled popped up everywhere after the quarterback had some confusion in a to-the-wire loss to the Chicago Bears.
Edelman resurfaced that meme in his celebration of Brady’s victory.
