Julian Edelman’s offseason of fun continued on Thursday.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP has had an eventful summer after winning his third championship, and he’s been very active on social media. With the reboot of “The Lion King” premiering on Thursday night — Edelman went ahead and made some comparisons of characters in the movie and his teammates.
Edelman, of course, was the squirrel. Tom Brady was listed as a goat in the post, and Bill Belichick made it as the owl. Matthew Slater was the cheetah, James White was the rabbit and Dont’a Hightower was the rhino.
The post was about as accurate as it could get — especially with the headphones on the owl and the glasses on the cheetah.
