Jets fans should be aware not to heckle in the presence of Julian Edelman. It won’t end well.
The New England Patriots wide receiver was in New York on Monday for the Met Gala, which was also attended by Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley.
As Barkley and Beckham were making their way to a car later in the evening, Edelman overheard a Jets fan shouting at Barkley and Beckham.
We could hear a fan say, “Oh, Saquon, sorry, buddy! Jets fan!”
That was when Edelman jumped in with a hilarious response to the heckler. He told him that he was a Jets fan too.
Edelman said:
“I’m a Jets fan too. Every time we play them, we win.”
So good.
Edelman had a point too. The Jets haven’t won against the Patriots since 2015.
