TV presenter and former Countryfile star Julia Bradbury has shared news that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 51-year-old mum of three, who presented the BBC One show until 2014 before moving across to ITV, where has presented a range of popular shows, revealed the news on Tiwtter this morning.
She said: "I’m sad to say that I’ve just been diagnosed with breast cancer and need urgent surgery."

Julia added: "Please self-check regularly and if you have any unexplained pain, tenderness or lumps, please ask for checks and follow ups. And ask for a second opinion if you’re not happy."
The star says she hopes sharing her story will encourage other women to get checked.
She said: "I hope this will give other women the confidence to keep checking and talking to their Drs, especially if they feel something isn’t “quite right"

Fans and supporters flocked to Twitter to offer their best wishes to the star, including fellow presenters.
TV presenter Dan Walker said: "So sorry to hear about this Julia. Very brave of you to spread such an important message.
"Massive amounts of love & to you and your family."
Presenter and model Sophie Blake said: "So sorry to hear this Julia. Sending love and solidarity."
TV star Paddy McGuiness also sent his best wishes, saying: "So glad you got that check up Bradders.
"Can’t imagine how difficult it is but I hope your road to recovery is short and pothole free."
