Jules Kounde, Dean Henderson - The latest Chelsea transfer rumours ahead of January window

With Premier League football taking a break over the international fortnight, Chelsea are being linked to a number of players who could strengthen their squad.

The Blues currently sit top of the Premier League table and look well on course to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League.

A testing winter period is set to push the Chelsea squad to their limits though, with Thomas Tuchel and Marina Granovskaia expected to look to the transfer market as a remedy.

With that being said, football.london takes a look at the latest transfer talk and rumours currently doing the rounds at Stamford Bridge.

What?

After being frustrated in their attempts to sign the Sevilla man in the summer, Chelsea could well try again for Kounde’s signature in January.

Reports in Spain suggest that the Spanish outfit are set to receive offers for the Frenchman, although they are not totally clear whether they will be from the Blues or elsewhere.

The 23-year-old still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current contract at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

What?

It is being reported that Manchester United have decided to let goalkeeper Dean Henderson leave Old Trafford on-loan after falling behind David De Gea in the battle to be the club’s No.1.

The ex-Sheffield United loanee has been linked with a move to Chelsea on numerous occasions in the past.

Newcastle United this time are mentioned as the most likely club to make a move for his services as they attempt to bolster their squad in January.

Who?

Hakim Ziyech

Where?

Bild

What?

After being linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund in the past few weeks, Hakim Ziyech has seemingly been handed assurances that the Schwarzgelben have the means to bring him to the Signal Iduna Park.

According to reports in Germany, Dortmund would have 'no problem' raising the required €40million (£34million) that it would take in order to secure his services.

It of course remains to be seen whether Chelsea would indeed be interested in letting him go, but he seemingly has other suitors in the form of Spanish giants Barcelona.
