The wait for the next chapter of 'Jujutsu Kaisen' has officially started as MAPPA has revealed the first teaser for Season 4, titled 'Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 2'. The animation studio confirmed that the new season is in production, but the official release date and broadcast details are yet to be announced.

The announcement came during the MAPPA 15th Anniversary Lineup Reveal event, where fans received the first glimpse of the continuation after Season 3 ended with a major cliffhanger. The upcoming season will continue the deadly Culling Game storyline and explore the events that follow the latest battles involving Yuji Itadori and other sorcerers.

'Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game Part 2 will continue the biggest battle

Season 4 will adapt the second half of the Culling Game arc, which has become one of the longest and most important storylines in the series.

The third season began after the Shibuya Incident and covered the Itadori’s Extermination and Perfect Preparation arcs before entering the Culling Game. The story introduced a dangerous competition created by Kenjaku, where sorcerers are forced into battles with survival as the only goal.

With the previous season ending at a turning point, the next chapter is expected to reveal how the remaining characters deal with the growing threats.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 release date update

As of now, MAPPA has confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4: The Culling Game Part 2 is in production, but the studio has not announced an official release date or broadcast window. The first teaser was revealed during the MAPPA 15th Anniversary Lineup Reveal event, giving fans a preview of the upcoming season. Yuta Okkotsu, Sukuna and Kenjaku’s plans remain key focus

The Season 3 finale left fans with several unanswered questions, including the next moves of Ryomen Sukuna and Kenjaku.

Yuta Okkotsu’s return became one of the biggest moments of the latest season. The special-grade sorcerer proved his strength once again during the Sendai battle, showing why he is considered one of the strongest characters in the series after Satoru Gojo.

One major change for the new season is the arrival of a new director. Takeru Satō has been confirmed as the director for The Culling Game Part 2.

Satō previously worked as assistant director on Season 3 under Shōta Goshozono. While the leadership has changed, the production team is expected to continue the series’ established action style and visual approach.

Streaming details for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4

Outside Japan, Crunchyroll is expected to continue streaming the series when Season 4 arrives, although official confirmation is still awaited.

Meanwhile, Hulu has announced that Season 3 will be available on its platform in both subbed and dubbed versions from July 10, 2026. The addition will help more viewers in the US access the latest chapter of the anime.

Netflix has already released the series in select Asian regions, and fans are waiting for further updates about its availability in more markets.
