Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 is signing off its Culling Game cour in style with a bumper-length finale.
As confirmed by Jujutsu Kaisen's English-language Twitter account, "JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 wraps up with a special extended episode on March 26!"
The announcement arrived with a teaser for the 'Sendai Colony' finale, which promises to follow Yuta's exploits away from Yuji and Megumi's battles in the Tokyo Colony. So far, the season has covered the opening salvo of the Culling Game, a battle royal among sorcerers both old and awakened across several 'colonies' in Japan, though the endgame of series villain Kenjaku's convoluted ploy remains unclear.

While the addition of an extra-long episode might sound exciting, it is believed that the Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 finale will only be around 28 minutes long instead of the usual 23 minutes.
There's no word yet, however, on Culling Game's continuation. Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 has been marketed pretty extensively as a 'Part One' but, as is anime's wont, there's been radio silence on the shonen series' future. Perhaps we can expect a brief teaser or post-credits announcement once Yuta is done dealing with business in the Sendai Colony.
The interim period will give us plenty of time to brush up on the, admittedly confusing, Culling Game rules – even if the actors involved think it's OK if you don't quite understand the battle royale's many regulations just yet.
Yuji's English actor Adam McArthur told GamesRadar+, "What I'm telling everybody who said this to me is be okay with not fully grasping them at the forefront. Things will be re-explained as we go. You'll understand what's happening. They're already using the characters not understanding things to re-explain the rules as we go along."
