JuJu Smith-Schuster stays professional talking about Antonio Brown

The media gave Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster an opportunity to air any grievances he had against former teammate Antonio Brown. This would have been a chance for Smith-Schuster to address the cheap shots Brown took at him after the season.

But like the consummate professional he is, Smith-Schuster took the high road and handled it exactly the way you’d hope a guy going into his third season as one of the best wide receivers in the league would.

“I liked him as a role model. That situation, I didn’t want it to end like that,” Smith-Schuster said. “I have no hard feelings against him. Obviously, if we were ever in the same room I’m going to say what’s up to him.”

Smith-Schuster takes over the No. 1 spot on the wide receiver depth chart after the Steelers traded Brown to the Raiders. Despite both of them being elite talents in the NFL, Smith-Schuster takes a completely different approach to his role as a Steeler beyond the field that every fan can appreciate.
