One guy who isn’t worried about the Madden curse is Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Despite watching his former teammate Antonio Brown completely meltdown after being on the cover, Smith-Schuster is campaigning on social media to be the cover athlete for Madden 20.
Smith-Schuster had a massive 2018 season. He led the Steelers in receptions and receiving yards. He was second in the AFC in receptions and third in receiving yards. Smith-Schuster isn’t just an elite talent but has the personality to well represent the Madden franchise.
