Judy Murray will be playing charity tennis match on the Meadows with Edinburgh locals tonight

Tennis fans can catch a glimpse of Judy Murray playing tennis tonight with Edinburgh locals in aid of charity.

This week, Andy Murray's mum has been on the search for members of the public to take part in a game at The Meadows tonight to raise money for BBC’s Children in Need.

Branded 'Fun Tennis', the event will take place between 7pm and 9pm and will be run by Judy and six other coaches from Edinburgh Leisure who will provide an interactive session for around 50 people.

Posting the event online, Judy wrote: "Come and join me and the @JudyMurrayFdn team for a spot of T in the Park to raise £££ for @BBCCiN Children In Need next Friday 13/11 at the Meadows in Edinburgh."

The BBC will be filming the event as part of Children in Need and Judy will be giving a live interview as the activities take place.

The event is being run by the Judy Murray Foundation who raise money to bring tennis into rural and disadvantaged areas in Scotland.
