Judy Murray helps out at Maryhill Park tennis courts - and praised the dedicated volunteers

It has been a bright and sunny weekend, and one special visitor was strolling around Maryhill Park enjoying the weather.

Tennis ace Judy Murray paid a visit to the park in north Glasgow after she noticed the tennis courts lay empty.

So she decided to help any future Wimbledon champions in their quest for glory by weeding and rolling out a net for them - alongside the dedicated volunteers.

And it was much to the delight of the fellow volunteers who help and maintain the park for everyone.

Sarah tweeted: "Much excitement that the queen of Scottish tennis visited our wee courts this weekend."

Judy shared a picture of herself next to one of the courts to her 247,000 followers.

Thanks Judy, we're sure the next Wimbledon champion will have played in Maryhill. Maybe Andy could help out next time too?!
