Judy Finnigan joked her son-in-law James Haskell should leave Chloe Madeley and marry her instead.
Richard Madeley and Judy often take the same sides when their daughter rows with her rugby star husband.
There's no secret the famous mum always takes the side of the son-in-law while her TV star husband tends to offer sympathy to their daughter.
Judy, 72, had no qualms joking James, 35, should leave her daughter and marry her instead because of their close bond.
James told Woman's Own magazine : "I'll call up Judy [during an argument with Chloe] and she says 'leave Chloe and marry me!'"

Previously, Judy has gushed over her "impressive" son-in-law as she recalled Chloe first bringing him home to meet the parents.
Judy said: "James had me from 'hello'. He walked into our house for the first time, so toweringly tall he blocked out the light. I thought, hmmm he's impressive."
As Judy always takes James' side, she will always lean on her father Richard for love advice during her marriage.
Chloe has previously admitted her mum's intervention hasn't been helpful.
However, the fitness guru said she will often turn to her dad because he doesn't shy away from being brutally honest with her.

She previously told new! magazine : "If I call my dad and James and I have had an argument, he will counsel me through it.
"One of my biggest downfalls as a person is I think I find it hard to let things go and move on.
"So my dad will always tell me, 'Let it go Chloe this is ridiculous.' He'll put my in my place. But then at the same time, if he thinks James has done something wrong, he'll say: 'Stand your ground.'"
Richard and Judy have one of the most successful marriages in showbiz, having tied the knot in 1986.

Not only have they raised Chloe together but they have also presented TV shows and host their book club as a team.
It comes after Judy slammed Prince Harry for being "spoilt" over doing the tell-all Oprah interview with his wife Meghan Markle.
She wrote in The Express : "He’s just a silly, spoiled Prince who thinks he can have it all. You’re not a Prince without a country, just a rich playboy with a Netflix contract.
"If he ever comes back home, I fear he’s in for a nasty shock."
