Judy Finnigan slates 'silly spoilt' Prince Harry and Meghan over Oprah interview

Judy Finnigan has branded Prince Harry 'silly and spoiled' in a withering attack on the California-based Royal.

Blasting the 36-year-old over his and pregnant wife Meghan's decision to give a tell-all interview to Oprah Winfrey days after winning a privacy case against a British newspaper, she said Harry had "totally rejected us".

Former morning telly host Judy wrote in The Express : "He’s just a silly, spoiled Prince who thinks he can have it all. You’re not a Prince without a country, just a rich playboy with a Netflix contract.

"If he ever comes back home, I fear he’s in for a nasty shock."

Judy's comments come after Harry and Meghan faced criticism for the seemingly terse statement they snapped back with after the royal family confirmed on Friday they would be stripped of their patronages.

Their spokesperson's comment "We can all live a life of service. Service is universal” has been branded "petulant" by royal insiders.

It was in response to a Buckingham Palace statement on Friday confirming the pair would be giving up the remainder of their royal duties and patronages amid their move to Los Angeles.

The statement said the Queen was "saddened" by the decision, but Harry and Meghan remained "much loved members of the family".

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview will run on CBS on March 7.

Oprah is to grill Meghan, with "a wide-ranging interview covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood (and) philanthropic work, to how she is handling life under intense public pressure".
