The judges have all had direct involvement in innovation, whether that be overseeing the latest London start-up incubator, being at the forefront of delivering education in a truly unique way or being at the helm of the UK's largest nationwide fibre-optic network.
The judging panel is as follows:
Richard Noble, project director, BloodhoundSSC
Araceli Camargo, THECUBE
Brian Durrant, chief executive, London Grid for Learning
Mark Heraghty, managing director, Virgin Media Business
Lee Hull, director of public sector, Virgin Media Business
David Brindle, public services editor, the Guardian
Juliette Garside, telecoms correspondent, the Guardian
Entries will be reviewed based on category criteria and a shortlist of four entries per category will be created. The shortlist will be made public on the Innovation Nation microsite.
Visitors to the site will be encouraged to vote for their favorite entry. Winners will be decided based on the number of votes secured and a final judging round.
