Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been ordered to take a paternity test after his appeal was denied in a legal case involving 27-year-old Alexandra Davis, who alleges that Jones is her father, according to a report from the New York Post.
The civil suit was first filed in March of 2022 by Davis, who alleged that she was conceived during a relationship between Jones and her mother, Cynthia Davis. Cynthia was married at the time of her relationship with Jones in the mid-1990s, and reached a settlement with the Cowboys owner at the time in which Jones agreed to fully support them financially as long as he wasn’t identified as Alexandra’s father.
Alexandra dropped her lawsuit against Jones in April of ’22, but still wanted genetic testing done to confirm that Jones was her father. Jones appealed, but Dallas County judge Sandra Jackson upheld the court decision this week that will force the Cowboys owner to take a paternity test.
Jones has been married to his wife Eugenia since 1963. The couple has three children together.
