Judge Rinder has landed a Channel 4 talk show – and if his chat with Harry Styles is anything to go by, it’ll be interesting viewing.
The barrister, who stars as a fictional judge for his ITV daytime show, will host a “savagely entertaining” take on current affairs.
But when Rob met 1D’s Harry as the pair worked out at a Barry’s Bootcamp gym, he noticed the youngster helping staff take out rubbish.
His “razor-sharp legal mind” evidently went awry, and he accidentally made a pass at Harry’s mum. “I was so overwhelmed by his kindness,” gushes Rob. “It was: ‘Gosh you are so well brought up.
"What a nice thing. I wish I had a child like you. If I had a child he would be on crack by the time he is 10.’
“Not satisfied leaving it there,” he continues. “I said: ‘Gosh, I should have a child. Is your mum single?’”
It’s not the first such display. Rob saw Christopher Biggins at an airport and “nearly had a coronary”. “I am like Hugh Grant on acid,” he cringes.
