Thai-English forward Jude Soonsup-Bell said he believes in Port's potential after joining the Thai League 1 giants from English league.
The 22-year-old striker, who was a free agent, completed a four-year deal with the T1 club last month after his contract with English fourth-tier club Grimsby Town ended at the close of the 2025/26 season.
He passed a medical on Thursday after arriving in Thailand and was told to improve his fitness to be ready for the upcoming season that will see Port compete on five fronts.
"I believe in the potential of this team and that's the reason I decided to move here. Once again, I would like to thank the club president [Photipong Lamsam] and Madam Pang [Nualphan Lamsam], the former club president, for helping me with everything," said Jude.
Port, who finished runners-up to champions Buriram United last season, are currently competing in the Piala Presiden 2026 in Indonesia.
Jude is expected to remain in Thailand and train with the coaching staff under a special programme set by the club before linking up with his teammates later.
"I am very excited about this opportunity, especially the chance to play in front of Port FC fans. In the meantime, I will train in Thailand and get myself as ready as possible before joining my teammates. I send my support to my teammates in Indonesia."
Once tipped as a rising star of English football, having come through the England set-up from U15 to 19 levels, Jude has since committed his international future to Thailand last year, tracing his eligibility through his mother's side of the family.
He has since become a fixture in the Thailand national team.
The new Thai League 1 season will begin on Sept 4.
