Liverpool transfer plans could be shaped by 90 minutes for Jurgen Klopp

Less than two weeks remain before the transfer window slams shut and there's still plenty of decisions left to be made, for outgoings at least.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made no secret of the fact his squad is bursting at the seams and the depth was evident in their pre season friendlies against Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna as two completely different teams were named in each game.

A number of players were absent for the Norwich game, but with only Robertson expected to be unavailable through injury against Burnley, who Klopp leaves out on Saturday could shape the club's immediate future.

Ben Woodburn is expected to go out on loan, the club are awaiting a fresh bid from Lyon for Xherdan Shaqiri and there's debate over the futures of Nat Phillips and Divock Origi.

Saturday's clash against Sean Dyche's side may be telling in who will play a role for Liverpool this season.

Liverpool signing record-breaking England teenager Jude Bellingham would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool are yet to replace the departed Georginio Wijnaldum, who left on a free transfer to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Despite plenty of rumours surrounding potential midfield targets this window, no concrete links have been made and Klopp is reportedly satisfied with his options as only further outgoings will prompt new signings.

But, as attention is already turning towards next summer, Jude Bellingham is a player that is catching the eye across Europe.

It's likely Liverpool may need to bolster their midfield options next year as James Milner's contract is set to expire and, as things stand, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be set to enter the final year of their current deals.

Bellingham only joined Borussia Dortmund last summer but performances last season and in the German DFL-Supercup on Tuesday, he's a player plenty of Reds would like to see at Anfield.

His stats in the Bundesliga prove he thrives in areas that will appeal to Klopp.
