Jude Bellingham told to make Chelsea transfer decision amid growing Manchester United links

Jude Bellingham could be one of the big transfer sagas of the summer.

The Birmingham City wonderkid is being chased by clubs all over Europe, with Chelsea and Manchester United most heavily linked with his signature in the Premier League.

The 16-year-old has shot into the limelight this season having nailed down a first-team place in the Blues, Championship team, playing a whopping 35 games this season prior to football being suspended as a result of the coronavirus.

Bellingham scored winning goals in back-to-back Championship games at the end of August and beginning of September, to really spring to the fore, making the top clubs in Europe stand up and take notice.

Alan Smith's full Chelsea Q&A

He has scored a further two goals since then and has reportedly had a £30million price tag slapped on his shoulders by the Birmingham owners who are loathe to lose him.

But, if he does more to the Premier League, where should he go?

Former Chelsea man Frank Sinclair does not believe the teen star would be suited to the Blues.

Speaking to GentingBet, Sinclair said: "Jude Bellingham has to think about playing games, getting better and improving as a player – which I think will be very difficult for him to do at Chelsea.

"You look at the youngsters coming through the ranks at Chelsea and you’d say that there are better players coming through the academy than Jude Bellingham anyway. So, if he is going to move on from Birmingham City and kick on at a higher level, it is really important that he goes to a club where he can play week in, week out as that’s the only way he’ll improve and fulfil the potential that he’s got.

"I think Bellingham needs to very wary of his next move."
