Darren Bent insists that Liverpool would be the ‘perfect’ destination for Jude Bellingham.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has established himself as one of the best young players in Europe over the past two seasons, and has been linked with a move to Anfield.
Since arriving from Birmingham City in the summer of last year, Bellingham has become an integral part of Dortmund’s team, and despite being only 18, he has already clocked up 22 appearances for the German club this season.
His sensational performances in the Bundesliga and Champions League have seen the England star linked with a host of the continent's leading clubs, and according to the Mirror, Liverpool are in pole position to secure his services.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Bent was asked for his view on Bellingham and didn’t hold back on his praise for the youngster.
“He’s got the potential to be one of the very best, if not the best," the ex-England international told talkSPORT .
“I heard about this kid from a long, long time ago. As long as he keeps developing. He is developing at an alarming rate as well. He’s only 18. You think of him by the time he’s 21?
“I have heard about Liverpool , it would be a perfect landing spot for him. Liverpool would be great.”
Bellingham’s progress since signing for Dortmund has been exceptional. In his first season with the club he played a key role in helping them finish third in the Bundesliga. He also won his first piece of silverware, the DFB-Pokal Cup.
His excellent campaign for his club was rewarded with a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Euros where he made three appearances in the Three Lions' run to the final.
