Jude Bellingham sends message to new Liverpool signing after transfer

Liverpool confirmed the signing of talented midfielder Bobby Clark from Newcastle United on Thursday.

Negotiations were first reported last month , and no fee has yet been reported for the teenager

Son of former Toon favourite Lee Clark, the 16-year-old is an England youth international and made his Newcastle U18 debut aged just 14.

The England youth international is set to go into Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's U18s side this season, with the aim of making the step up into the U23s side.

Clark took to Instagram to post a message thanking Newcastle, and that has led to another talented English player sending a congratulatory message.

Jude Bellingham, who made the move from Birmingham City to Borussia Dortmund last summer, posted a message to Clark on the social media site.

“Good luck bro,” wrote the 18-year-old, who became the youngest player to feature for England at a major tournament at the European Championships earlier this summer.

Bellingham has also been tentatively linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, following his impressive start to life at Dortmund.

After joining the Bundesliga club for £25m last year, Bellingham is sure to have plenty of admirers across Europe following his debut campaign in Germany.
