Jude Bellingham says he will make amends in a classy response after unconsciously snubbing a young England fan who asked for his shirt in San Marino on Monday.
The 18-year-old helped the Three Lions to a record 10-0 victory over the minnows to end their World Cup qualifying campaign in style and gave away his jersey to a travelling supporter post-match.
Seen in television footage, Bellingham had spotted a Birmingham City flag in the crowd, his boyhood club, and tossed his shirt to towards those next to it.
The group were just yards from the fan who had made a cardboard sign for the occasion with the specific hope of getting the Borussia Dortmund sensation's top, as the unlucky supporter watched on in visible disappointment, while Bellingham was oblivious.

After being alerted to the situation on social media, the midfielder classily tweeted: "Sorry, I was too focused on the Blues flag.
"Can we find him so I can sort him my BVB one from this coming weekend?"
That will be when Dortmund host Stuttgart on Saturday in the Bundesliga, in which Bellingham will be keen to grab a goal after having one chalked off by VAR for England.
The Three Lions cruised to three points in their final qualifier and cemented first place in Group I, six points ahead of second-placed Poland.
Gareth Southgate 's side can now plan for Qatar next winter, and Manchester United legend Roy Keane has tipped Bellingham to start in the World Cup.
"Absolutely, he has got a great chance," Keane said while on punditry duty for ITV.
"Everything he is doing on the pitch and the way he speaks off it... He is playing week in and week out for a top club and the potential for this kid, it is scary.
"I saw him recently in a Champions League game for Dortmund and he was producing passes that I didn't think he had in his locker quite yet.

"Gareth must be rubbing his hands."
Southgate certainly knows he has a player on his hands, explaining pre- Euro 2020 : "Jude is phenomenal.

"He’s going to be an important player for England."
