TfL Tube delays: Commuters face misery on Jubilee, Central and London Overground lines

Commuters were forced to deal with rush hour misery on Tuesday after a signal failure caused severe delays on the entire Jubilee line.

The signal failure, at Waterloo, meant there were was huge disruption at all of its 27 stations.

Its Twitter account acknowledged it wasn’t “the best start to the day”.

It said: “Good morning all. Sorry about this and I totally appreciate that it's not the best start to the day. Currently, we're operating with severe delays to all destinations due to an earlier signal failure at Waterloo.”

Meanwhile, the Overground was part suspended between Sydenham and West Croydon due to a signal failure.

And there was also minor delays on the Central line because of a track fault at Bethnal Green.
