Adel al-Jubeir became on Sunday the first Saudi foreign minister to visit Cuba.
On Tuesday, he held talks with President Raul Castro, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Meeting in Havana, the two officials discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various fields.
Jubeir had on Monday met his counterpart Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla.
According to the Saudi foreign affairs ministry’s Twitter account, Jubeir had arrived in Havana on Sunday on an official visit.
He is scheduled to hold talks later with Cuba’s Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas.
