Juan Foyth injury: Tottenham defender stretchered off vs Bayern Munich

Juan Foyth has suffered a potentially long-term injury after being stretchered off during Tottenham's Audi Cup final clash against Bayern Munich.

In the second half of the final, Foyth was in serious discomfort as he cluthced his left ankle, and struggled to put any weight on his left leg.

The defender needed support from two physios, but even with their aid he was unable to make it to the Allianz Arena dressing-room on his feet.

Foyth ended up being stretchered off down the touchline, and looks likely to face a spell on the sidelines as a result of the injury.

Foyth's absence would be a big setback to Mauricio Pochettino, who could be forced to rely on Kyle Walker-Peters at right-back as the new season approaches.
