JTI

Japan Tobacco Inc (JTI) is an international tobacco-product manufacturer responsible for some of the world's best-known brands, including Winston, Benson & Hedges, Silk Cut and Camel. A Fortune 500 company, JTI employs more than 25,000 people in 90 offices worldwide and generates annual revenues of $11.2bn (£7.4bn). The company's culture is influenced by the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, which means "continuous improvement". The philosophy is based around making little changes on a regular basis. With employees from 69 countries, JTI has a diverse culture within which collaboration is encouraged. Its graduate programme offers employees the chance to do three, eight-month placements – one in their home market, one in a contrasting market and one at the company's headquarters in Geneva.
