Jrue Holiday helps LeBron James get a rare assist to Anthony Davis on full court pass

Thursday night’s showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers was as entertaining as everyone had hoped it would be in the first half, with the Los Angeles Lakers holding a 63-57 lead at halftime thanks to a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope just before the end of the half. But Caldwell-Pope’s play was somehow not the most spectacular one of the first half as LeBron James was credited with a rare assist on what appeared to be a complete accident.

With just over two minutes left in the first half, James grabbed a rebound and saw Anthony Davis on the other side of the court getting position under the basket. Milwaukee’s Jrue Holiday, who played with Anthony Davis in New Orleans, sensed the play and tried to break up the pass but ended up helping tip the ball into the basket for two Lakers points, credited to Davis.

James has had a lot of amazing assists over the years but this one was definitely among the weirdest ones of his 18-year career.
