JP McManus has sent a message to the Limerick hurlers ahead of their All-Ireland final clash with Waterford this weekend.
The businessman has been a long-term backer of Limerick GAA and celebrated their 2018 Championship win in the dressing room with the team.
Speaking in the video, McManus said: "Firstly, I'd like to congratulate Limerick on their great win in the Munster final and also on winning the league title.
"We're going for the big one on Sunday. We got a bit lonely without Liam MacCarthy last year so hopefully you will bring it back next Sunday.
"Meeting Waterford in an All-Ireland [final] sounds strange and unusual. I don't believe it's ever happened.
"Waterford are in the All-Ireland only for one reason - because they deserve to be.
"As a Limerick person, if Limerick weren't in it, we'd be cheering for Waterford. I'm sorry Waterford. Not this year. This year it's Limerick's."
The video was one of a number sent to the Team Limerick Clean-Up after they called on fans across the county to show their support.
McManus, who is a Team Limerick Clean-Up Sponsor, added: “We have been amazed by the messages of support for the team we have received over the past 10 days.
"With the semi-final win over Galway less than two weeks ago, we knew timings would be tight to get Limerick heard via the Treaty Rallying Call, but in typical fashion, our fans responded magnificently, and this video is testament to their creativity.
"I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish both counties the very best of luck on Sunday – may the best team win."
