JP McManus has perfect day as all three of his runners win

JP McManus had a pleasing day as his three runners ran out winners between Sligo and Cheltenham.

There was a brace at Sligo for McManus, with Ciel De Neige posting a classy ride under Mark Walsh to secure the first win of the day for McManus in the 1.10 at Sligo.

The 4/7 favourite was always in contention and stayed on well after a slight mistake two out to readjust and secure the win in the closing stages.

Next up it was the turn of Camprond to do the business in the 1.55 at Cheltenham.

The 1/3 favourite was assertive in what was just a three-horse field and was ridden well by Aidan Coleman, who shored the race up and went out in front as the race neared the last 150 yards.

Then came the 3.30 at Sligo and it was again the job of Mark Walsh to run in another winner for McManus.

Aboard A Different World, Walsh produced a good ride and disputed the lead at different stages early on.

A slight mistake at the last did not deter A Different World who kept on well to seal a hat trick of race wins for JP McManus-owned runners on the day.
