Jozo Simunovic is itching to terminate his injury-enforced absence sooner rather than later, as the Celtic defender took to social media on Tuesday evening to share a Schwarzenegger-themed message with fans.
The 25-year-old was a fixture throughout their Champions League qualifying, but hasn't been seen since the first leg of their Europa League playoff with AIK after picking up a knee injury.
He is expected to be out for another three weeks after undergoing minimal surgery to correct the issue, with Neil Lennon having to make do with Christopher Jullien and Kris Ajer as his only established options at the heart of the defence.
But while it can often be frustrating looking in from the outside while your teammates shine on the pitch, Simunovic isn't letting it get him down.
He took to his Instagram story earlier on Tuesday to let fans know he's taking nothing lying down, as he shared an image of himself smiling on his hospital bed with an iconic caption.
"I'll be back" the defender said, punctuating his vow with a clenched fist emoji - signifying he's fighting to get himself back onto the pitch.
Once he's won the battle for fitness, he'll have another scrap on his hands if he is to force his way back into Lennon's first team.
Jullien and Ajer have been outstanding in the centre of defence, while Nir Bitton has proved himself capable of stepping in where required, and did so in the triumphant Old Firm derby at the start of the month.
But Simunovic, who has made over 100 appearances for the Scottish champions since joining from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015, will know there is a place for him if he can get back to playing at his best.
