Jozo Simunovic in Kenny Miller throwback as Celtic star gives crunching tackle the Titanic treatment

Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic has given the Titanic treatment to one of his most famous moments in green and white - smashing Kenny Miller up in the air.

The centre-back won the ball from the then- Rangers striker, but caught the veteran on the follow-through.

The impact sent Miller spinning through the air, with Celtic running over the top of their rivals in the 5-1 win at Ibrox in May 2017.

Simunovic, who still fondly remembers the challenge, posted a throwback to the incident on his Instagram page, complete with Titanic music.

The defender captioned the video: "Football is simple. Very simple."

Unsurprisingly the post went down well with the Hoops support - not to mention club captain Scott Brown .

He commented: "Best touch you have had."

In recent years a meme of adding the Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' to sporting events to make them more dramatic has taken the internet by storm, and Simunovic is just the latest to get in on the act.

Simunovic is in his fifth season with Celtic, but has yet to play a Premiership game in 2019-20 as he struggles with injury.

The Croat is currently recovering from knee surgery, and hasn't featured since the 2-0 win over AIK in the Europa League in August.

He has made 117 appearances for Celtic, winning four league titles, three League Cups and the three Scottish Cups.
