A 14-year-boy faces a huge repair bill along with criminal charges after allegedly crashing a stolen car into a $400,000 Lamborghini SUV in Perth's south.
Officers had been patrolling in Como on Tuesday evening after reported sightings of a stolen white Subaru Forester in the area.
The Subaru had been stolen from a house in the northern suburb of Stirling during a home burglary more than a week earlier, on October 6.
After spotting the stolen car in the driveway of a home in Birdwood Avenue, police parked their own car behind it.
But as the officers got out of their car, the teenager allegedly reversed at speed, crashing into the patrol car and knocking it out of the way.
Police said the boy then drove off and shortly afterwards smashed into the Lamborghini Urus at the intersection of Bland Street.
The teenager fled the scene but was soon arrested.
Vision from the incident showed extensive damage to the right-hand side of the luxury car, which has a retail price of up to $412,000.
A spokesman for Barbagallo Motors, the only Lamborghini dealer in WA, said there were fewer than 20 of the SUVs in Perth.

Fremantle detectives have charged the teenager with two counts of stealing a motor vehicle, three of stealing and two of aggravated burglary.
