Joyous Michael O'Leary announces free bar on flight from Liverpool to Dublin Airport as he celebrates Tiger Roll's Grand National 2019 win

Passengers were given free drinks on board as Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary celebrated a thrilling Tiger Roll win in Aintree.

The horse romped home to win the 2019 Grand National with O'Leary promising this evening's Liverpool to Dublin passengers a free bar.

The party is set to continue into the night as they celebrate the first horse since Red Rum to win back-to-back Grand Nationals

Speaking on ITV Racing former winner AP McCoy asked O'Leary about his plans for the evening.

He asked: "I know you don't like these Ryanair flights being late but apparently the one last year was late. Any chance it might be late this year?'

"There will be a free bar on the 7.30 going from Liverpool to Dublin on this evening again!," O'Leary explained.

The 19.25 from John Lennon Airport was delayed until 20.45 with O'Leary clearly living up to his promise with free drinks on board expected for all passengers.

Last year was a similar story with the 43-minute flight seeing a free bar with O'Leary, winning jockey Davy Russell and a host of happy racegoers.
