(Reuters) - Subtropical Storm Joyce could transition to a tropical storm in the next day or two over the Atlantic, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Thursday.
Joyce was located about 980 miles (1,575 kilometers) west-southwest of the Azores with maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 km/h), the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
"Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours," the NHC added.
