Joy for car owners as their stolen motors are recovered by gardai in Finglas

Three Dublin car owners will be breathing a sigh of relief today after their stolen motors were recovered by gardai in north Dublin.

The vehicles were discovered by Community Gardai from Finglas who were on patrol in the Meakstown area.

Using the the Garda Mobility App, officers confirmed that the cars had been stolen and will now be reunited with their grateful owners.

Gardai said: "Community Gardaí, Finglas were on Mobile Patrols in the Meakstown area when they located 3 stolen vehicles with the assistance of the Garda Mobility Device.

"These vehicles were located in neighbouring estates throughout the Meakstown/Hamptonwood area.

"All vehicles were seized for Technical Examination and will be returned to their rightful owners.

"Gardaí would ask residents to report any suspicious behaviour or vehicles to their local Garda station."
