'Journey to hell' horror experience returns to Blackpool Pleasure Beach this Halloween

Blackpool's terrifying 'Journey to hell' horror experience returns to Blackpool Pleasure Beach this spooky season. The event that runs from October 7 - 30 is a hair-raising night of spooks and scares for visitors from terrifying live actors.

Guests to the park must first overcome their fears of ghosts, clowns and ghouls before riding any rollercoasters. Journey to Hell will be full of scare zones, haunted ride areas and outrageous live entertainment.

A favourite for horror fans is ‘Pasaje del Terror’. The unique interactive horror show dares visitors to journey through a spine-chilling maze of scenes and settings from famous horror movies.

Guest can also enjoy live music and a DJ in the form of the host, also known as 'the gatekeeper'. If you have a clown phobia, you're best steering clear of the Impossible Freak House - the clowns underneath the big top want to keep your soul forever.

A scary ghost train also promises to take you on a hair raising journey along with a trip through the cursed caves where you can awaken the legend of the cursed travellers.

The controllers and the sirens will also try to lure you into their lost realms if you can make it out of the hell tunnel or lost the lost maze of rooms. The Pleasure Beach Hexpress also awaits for anyone brave enough to embark on a witchcraft pilgrimage.

Journey to Hell is reserved for guests aged 10 years or older. An adult must accompany under 16s. There must be no more than a 6:1 under 16 to adult ratio.
