Journalists protest at French-Chinese meeting

A protest was staged outside the French interior ministry yesterday as the interior minister, Nicolas Sarkozy, met his Chinese counterpart, Zhou Yongkang. Organised by the press freedom body, Reporters Without Borders, the demonstrators called for the release of 82 journalists and internet-users currently in jail in China.
