Journalist resigns for using Wikipedia

A columnist on the San Antonio Express-News has resigned after she was found plagiarising from Wikipedia. Jacqueline Gonzalez, who was also the administrative assistant to the paper's editor, quit after admitting "an error of judgment." According to the paper's public editor, Gonzalez used Wikipedia to write a Christmas Day column and later research uncovered further examples of plagiarism in two other columns.
