Journalist paid by US government hits back

The story of the 10 Miami-based journalists in the pay of the US government (see Journalists paid for writing anti-Cuban propaganda) has taken another twist. One of them, Olga Connor - whose contract with El Nuevo Herald was severed last week for violating the company's ethics policy - says her paper's managers have known for years that she was paid by the administration for hosting shows on Radio Martí..
