'Journalism is my jihad' says brave reporter

A courageous journalist on the Indonesian weekly, Tempo, has declared: "Journalism is my jihad". Agung Rulianto, who has been investigating terrorism in the world's most populous Muslim country for four years, has revealed the existence of an 82-page terrorists' manual that details practical instructions on how to set up cells, raise funds and recruit members. The book provides ''an ideological thesis'' to ''justify the use of terrorism to carry out jihad,'' says Rulianto, a Muslim who says he has nothing in common with the terrorists who kill people in the name of his religion.
