Journal magazine editor resigns

Tina Gaudoin, the founding editor of the Wall Street Journal's glossy lifestyle magazine WSJ., has quit, citing "personal reasons."

With her husband working in London, she has found it "unsustainable" to continue with her New York editorship.

She will remain on the Journal's masthead as a contributing editor and will work with Wall Street Journal Europe editor-in-chief Patience Wheatcroft.

Gaudoin, ex-editor of The Times's quarterly style magazine Luxx, joined the Journal in January 2008 after being recruited by her former boss, Robert Thomson, soon after he became the Journal's editor.
