Jota keeps Celtic love in with Glasgow boozer going as he takes Parkhead time machine back to the 90s

Jota has continued his love-in with popular Celtic pub The Brazen Head in a series of retro snaps.

The Portuguese winger further cemented his Parkhead hero status at the weekend by scoring the winner in a 1-0 Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers. But he made headlines before the game when spotted taking in the scenery of the Brazen Head in the south side of Glasgow.

Fans were perplexed to see him there but it appears the Benfica academy graduate brought his photographer, as he posted a series of snaps from the boozer alongside the caption 'school trip to the 90s.' That is in reference to the away shirt from the season 1997/98 term he is wearing, when Celtic won the double under Wim Jansen. Jota wants to go one further and cement a treble, telling club media ahead of this weekend' match with Hearts, where Ange Postecoglou's men can clinch Premiership glory: “As a Celtic player and be in this amazing group, we always aim for the trophies.

"But we know that in order to achieve that, we’ve had to work hard since day one and that’s what we’ve been doing since the beginning of the season.

“Now we’re just collecting the fruits that we planted before, and it’s just another game next week, and then another one and another one until the end of the season. So we don’t stop!”
