Jota's season could reportedly be over after he was substituted off injured in Celtic's 5-0 win over Dundee United at the weekend.
The Portuguese winger forced Ryan Strain to put the ball into his own net and open the scoring on the half-hour mark, although five minutes later, he was forced to be withdrawn.
Jota was seen post-match with his knee in a brace and on crutches.

Now, his season could be over, with Celtic 'braced for confirmation' that he could be out for a prolonged spell, claims SunSport. Indeed, it is believed that the initial diagnosis of Jota's injury suggests that he could be unavailable for several months.
Brendan Rodgers' men have five games of the campaign remaining, including a colossal Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen in which they secure a ninth domestic treble.
Jota will now likely not feature between now and the end of the campaign. He has made 16 appearances for Celtic since rejoining the club in January, scoring five goals along the way.
Rodgers provided an update on the attacker's fitness after his team wrapped up the title at the weekend: "He just felt his knee with the medical guys," he said.
"We're looking at whether his meniscus is a little bit sore. We'll just have to assess that. Of course, they put it in the brace to protect it, but we'll see in the next couple of days."
